On the symbolism of the Office of the Prosecutor General

1. To establish the emblem and flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General.

2. To approve the following attachments:

Description of the emblem of the Office of the Prosecutor General;

Drawing of the emblem of the Office of the Prosecutor General;

Description of the flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General;

Drawing of the flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General;

Procedure for the use of the emblem and flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General.

3. To recognize as invalid the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated November 29, 2017, № 392 "On the symbolism of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine".

4. This Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication.

DESCRIPTION
of the emblem of the Office of the Prosecutor General

The emblem of the Office of the Prosecutor General is a blue triangular shield with a golden border, rounded at the bottom, on which is depicted a silver sword with a golden handle, vertically positioned with the tip pointing downwards, and golden scales. In the center of the emblem – is the small State Emblem of Ukraine.

Below the shield is a blue ribbon with a golden lining, on which the motto is inscribed in golden letters: "AEQUITAS, LEX, DEFENSIO" (from Latin – "JUSTICE, LAW, DEFENSE").

The use of the emblem without the ribbon bearing the motto is permitted.

DESCRIPTION
of the flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General

The flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General is a rectangular cloth of dark blue color with a width-to-length ratio of 2:3.

In the upper left quarter of the flag, there are two equally sized horizontal stripes of blue and yellow colors, and in the center of the free edge of the cloth – the emblem of the Office of the Prosecutor General with a border without a ribbon with a motto. The height of the emblem is 1/2 the width of the cloth.

Both sides of the flag cloth are mirror identical.

ORDER
on the use of the emblem and flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General

1. The emblem and flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General are official distinguishing symbols that indicate affiliation with the Office of the Prosecutor General.

2. The emblem of the Office of the Prosecutor General:

is placed in the official office of the Prosecutor General, in the meeting rooms of the Office of the Prosecutor General, and is depicted on the flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General;

may be reproduced on departmental awards of the Office of the Prosecutor General, on administrative buildings and structures where the Office of the Prosecutor General is located.

3. The flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General is established in the office of the Prosecutor General and may be used during official events involving the Prosecutor General.

4. Reproductions of the images of the emblem and flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General may be executed in a monochrome version and are allowed in proportions that correspond to the purpose of their use.

5. The images of the emblem and flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General may be reproduced on printed, informational, and souvenir products, in film, video, and photographic materials published by the Office of the Prosecutor General or produced at its request.

6. In other cases, the specifics of the use of the emblem and flag of the Office of the Prosecutor General are determined by the Prosecutor General.
